<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for recovering tungsten efficiently from a reaction mixture obtained by reacting an organic compound and hydrogen peroxide in the presence of a tungsten catalyst. <P>SOLUTION: This method for recovering tungsten is characterized in that tungstic acid is precipitated by blowing a gas into the reaction mixture obtained by reacting the organic compound and hydrogen peroxide in the presence of the tungsten catalyst and then the precipitated tungstic acid is separated therefrom. Tungsten can be recovered at an excellent recovery rate by a simple operation using the inexpensive gas.
