<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lid structure for a pot so designed that an opening system of a lid member fitted in a stopper of the pot is a pull-up system and capable of speedily attaching or detaching a lid. <P>SOLUTION: The lid member 6 includes a lid cap 12, an engaging means 15 for the stopper 4, a lid ring 13 engaged with the lid cap 12 so as to be vertically movable, and a spring 14 disposed between the lid cap 12 and the lid ring 13. The internal circumferential face of the lid ring 13 has restriction ribs 39 opposite to the engaging means 15 and also disengaging spaces 44 below the restriction ribs 39. When the lid ring 13 is moved upward, the restriction ribs 39 are separated from the engaging means 15.
