PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a position detection method for underground buried structure that can decrease the number of times of boring.SOLUTION: A distance L from a point 30 on the ground whose coordinates (x1, y1) are already known to a reach point 34 is found by boring D obliquely from the point 30 at a perpendicular angle α and a horizontal angle &bgr; until an outer peripheral surface 32 of a structure 10 buried in the ground is reached, and coordinates (x2, y2) of the reach point 34 are found from the coordinates (x1, y1), perpendicular angle α, horizontal angle &bgr;, and distance L. |
