PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To discriminate to which excitation signal an abnormality occurs.SOLUTION: Frequencies ω,ωof excitation signals to be generated by excitation signal generators 12, 22, respectively, and a frequency ωof sample timing signals of A/D converters 13, 23 which perform A/D conversion of outputs of resolvers 11, 21 satisfy ω=k×ω,ω=k×ω(k,k: integers equal to or more than 2), and the outputs of the A/D converters 13, 23 are multiplied by coefficients n1, n2, respectively. When sample timing of the sample timing signal is considered as i(i=0, 1, 2, 3,...), n1, n2satisfy n1=cos((2&pgr;/(k×k))×i+&phgr;),n2=cos((2&pgr;/k)×i+&phgr;). |
