LIGHT-TRANSMITTING CONCRETE MANUFACTURING PROCESS BASED ON WRAPPING OPTICAL FIBRE WITH PASTE

Disclosed is a light-transmitting concrete manufacturing process based on wrapping an optical fibre with a paste, comprising the following steps: making a straightened optical fibre (2) pass through a cement paste box (4) to adhere the paste to the surface of the optical fibre (2); making the optical fibre (41) adhered with the paste pass through a shaping barrel (5) to remove the excessive paste; cutting the optical fibre (41) adhered with the paste into isometric optical fibre core strips (10) after the paste coated on the surface of the optical fibre is hardened; aligning two ends of the optical fibre core strips (10) to arrange same closely together by way of bundling or stacking in a formwork; and injecting the cement paste into the clearance between the optical fibre core strips (10), and after the cement paste is hardened, polishing two ends of the concrete along the arrangement direction of the optical fibre until the ends of the optical fibre are exposed so as to obtain the light-transmitting concrete. The optical fibre core strips manufactured using this process can be arranged in order, and the space between lines and columns of the optical fibre array can be adjusted by the thickness of the paste layer wrapped on the surface of the optical fibre. Moreover, the process realizes an automatic continuous production and lowers the manufacturing cost of the light-transmitting concrete.
