A protection switching method and optical network unit<b/>(ONU). The method comprises: separately establishing an uplink board and a main control board of the ONU, and further comprises: transmitting, by the uplink board, a parameter signal and an uplink serializer (SerDes) signal related to protection switching to the main control board; and controlling, by the main control board and according to the parameter signal, the uplink SerDes signal related to protection switching and a local clock, switching of an optical module in the uplink board. |
