The pigment preparation for gravure printing contains from 70 to 90 percent by weight of azo-lacquer of formula II, from 5 to 15 percent by weight of calcium salts of resinic acids based on abietic acid and from 5 to 25 percent by weight of dialkanolamide or a mixture of dialkanolamides of general formula III, where R is saturated or non-saturated aliphatic residuum with number of carbon atoms ranging from 12 to 22 and where n is 2 to 4.<IMAGE>
