<p>PURPOSE:To provide an activated carbon bonded sheet having activated carbon bonded thereto in a state deeply and uniformly dispersed in the structure thereof and generating no collapse in shape by sprinkling activated carbon over a sheet made of a thermoplastic synthetic fiber having a core-sheath structure wherein the m.p. of a sheath is lower than that of a core and spraying hot air to the sheet while sucking the sheet from the rear thereof. CONSTITUTION:A sheet 3 such as a knitted fabric or a nonwoven fabric is composed of a thermoplastic synthetic fiber having a core-sheath structure wherein a core is composed of polyethylene terephthalate or the like and a sheath is composed of a polymer whose m.p. is lower than that of the core by 10 deg.C or higher and activated carbon is dispersed on the sheet 3. This sheet 3 is placed on a metal net 2 to be treated with hot air and activated carbon is circulated within the system by a blower 6. Since activated carbon particles uniformly dispersed throughout the sheet are bonded to the fiber, the sheet generates no collapse in shape even when it receives hot bonding treatment.</p> |
