PURPOSE:To improve the appearance and reduec the cost by employing only a sort of insulator, while maintaining an occupant protecting function in the of side impact and making a parting line invisible from the cabin inside. CONSTITUTION:A synthetic resin made insulator 6 for covering a car body inside wall 2 from the cabin inside PR and a fiber made trim member 7 to be inserted and fixed inside a recessed part 9 formed on a surface 6a of the insulator 6 are constituted. On three sides of the recessed part 9, intermittent slits to be broken by a spesified load are formed, and on a locus connecting both end parts to each other of a slit on the rear surface 6b, a notch 11 is formed. An inflator 4 actuated on the basis of detection of an impact sensor 3 is arranged on the body inside wall 2 and an air bag 8 is arranged, which is expanded and unfolded by the inflator 4 to break the slits and expanded and unfolded inside a cabin via an opening 12. |
