PURPOSE:To miniaturize the entire structure, to manufacture at low cost, and furthermore to make it equipped with an LED array that does not exert harmful influence on its driving. CONSTITUTION:A substrate 40 on which an LED array 25 and a driver IC 36 for driving the LED array are mounted is held integral with an charging device 24 and a rod lens array 32 in a holding case 37. By fixing the holding case 37 to the apparatus main body, with the charging device 24 placed between a light-sensitive body 22 and the substrate 40 that is placed apart by some extent because of the conjugate length of the rod lens array 32, the apparatus main body can be constructed in a compact structure at low cost. Furthermore, the holding case 37 can be protected from static charge by forming a casing for the electrification device 24 of electrically-insulated material or by other means, and thereby driving of the LED array 25 can be protected from being influenced by charging. |
