PURPOSE:To obtain a resonator for producing popcorn capable of providing a wide band at a low production cost and a resonator type container for producing the popcorn. CONSTITUTION:The objective resonator 52 for producing popcorn having plural resonating elements 11, 12 and 13, tilted to the center and provided in the bottom of a container 50 for producing the popcorn. The respective plural resonating elements 11, 12 and 13 are constructed of 1/4 wavelength Lecher wires resonating elements having the length and binding degree set so as to resonate at the frequency of a microwave oven. The electromagnetic fields of at least the adjacent resonating elements are arranged so as to mutually intersect at right angles. |
