PURPOSE:To suppress the incident quantity of disturbing light and to suppress degradation in the luminance of a screen by providing the front surface of a lenticular plate with prisms for suppressing the surface reflection on cylindrical surface. CONSTITUTION:A prism sheet 2 consisting of the many prisms corresponding to the nucleus cylindrical lenses is arranged on the front surface of the lenticular plate 1. The respective prisms are so arranged as to correspond to the respective cylindrical lenses at 1:1. The prisms allow a part of the rays entering from the front surface of the lenticular plate 1 to pass the lenticular plate in the direction toward the cylindrical lense, cause specular reflection of the other part on the surfaces of the prisms and attenuate the remaining part inside the prisms. Consequently, 65% of the disturbing light reaching an observer is cut and the glittering of the screen is eliminated. Observation of the images having the high quality is thus possible. |
