PURPOSE: To easily manufacture a thin card being excellent in appearance efficiently and at a low cost, and at the same time, minimize the reduction of the installation precision of an electronic module to a card main body. CONSTITUTION: A card is equipped with a card main body 2, an electronic module 7 having an integrated circuit chip 8 and two contact regions 12, and an antenna 5 which is connected to the contact regions with two contact terminals. In addition, the electronic module is equipped with a contact pad connected to the chip so that the card may operate by a contact. This manufacturing method contains a process wherein the layer of the card main body is molded with a female die on the top of the antenna, and the contact terminals of the antenna are exposed by forming cavities on the card main body, and a process wherein the electronic module is installed in a cativy 17 of the card main body. |
