<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid degradation of luminous efficiency, even when the light emission output of a fluorescent tube is increased by preventing generation of damage of the tube and brightness unevenness and restraining temperature rise of the tube, even when an elongated and narrowed tube is used. <P>SOLUTION: An intermediate part of the fluorescent tube 2, with both ends supported, is supported by a lamp holder 3. A resin material, having a thermal conductivity in the range of 0.3 to 2 W/(m/K) is used for constituting the lamp holder 3. Here, in order to prevent the fluorescent tube 2 from coming off the lamp holder 3 due to vibration or impact, a base part 31 and a lamp-holding part 32 are provided at the lamp holder 3. The lamp-holding part 32 is, preferably, formed in a wheel shape with cuts 33 or notches 34 being formed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
