<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cabinet for storing electronic equipment in which damages to a viscoelastic body is prevented and damage on internal apparatus can be prevented, even at the occurrence of an earthquake that is stronger than supposed. <P>SOLUTION: The cabinet consists of an outer cabinet 1 having a frame, and an inner cabinet 2 supported on the inside of the outer cabinet 1 via a damping member 3, consisting of viscoelastic bodies 9 and 11. End 16 of a rail fixing plate 4 of the inner cabinet 2 is located at a position butting against the depth frame 17 or the lateral frame 18 of the outer cabinet 1, when it vibrates in the horizontal direction, and the distance s between the end 16 and the depth frame 17 or the lateral frame 18 is set smaller than the limit displacement of the viscoelastic bodies 9 and 11. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
