The proposed method and optoelectronic device for measuring an angular displacement of a controlled object relative to a base direction can be used ingeodesics, construction, space researches, and other fields. The proposed method consists in setting the base direction by a straight line, installing light sources at end points of the base line, measuring distances from the end points to the measuring device, and determining the angular position of the reflector that is installed at the controlled object relative to the base line by using the corresponding equation. The advantage of the proposed method is that the measurement results do not depend on angular distortions of the light sources as well as on displacements of the measuring devoice in the direction perpendicular to the base line.
