摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal panel structure excellent in earthquake- resistance and shock resistance, and to completely remove orientation defects of liquid crystal molecules and dendriform orientation defects of the liquid crystal induced by the infiltration process of the liquid crystal into the panel structure and the volume shrinkage of the liquid crystal. SOLUTION: This liquid crystal panel frame comprises a pair of substrates 2, 3 at least one of which is transparent, a pair of electrodes 4, 5 formed on those substrates and opposed to each other, and plural partition members 8 provided between both substrates 2, 3 and arranged in parallel at predetermined intervals. The partition members 8 forms plural and linear spaces R isolated from one another and arranged in parallel between both substrates 2, 3, and liquid crystal is enclosed in those linear spaces. Moreover, in the state with the liquid crystal enclosed, the liquid crystal panel frame has the characteristics that orientation abnormality is not generated even if the frame is loaded with a heavy goods of 10 cm<2> bottom area and 2 kg weight. Especially, this liquid crystal panel frame can be suitably used for ferroelectric liquid crystal or anti- ferroelectric liquid crystal.
