DISK REPRODUCING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the time required until the disk is reproduced after it is placed on the slide panel and to accurately chuck a disk. SOLUTION: The disk reproducing apparatus is provided with a slide panel 4 which is provided with a turntable 3 within a cabinet 1 having formed a guide groove 12 on its side surface, a clamper 8 holding a disk on the turntable 3 to rotate at the time of reproducing operation, a front panel 2 pivotally supported by the opening lower end part of the cabinet 1 and a clamper plate 5 provided by the cabinet 1 to move in the horizontal direction, provided with the clamper 8, engaged with a cam groove 9 formed to the cabinet 1 and provided with a clamper plate 5 to move downward during the movement to the deeper side of the cabinet 1. The slide panel 4 is provided to be engaged with the front panel 2 and guide groove 12 and to appear and disappear depending on rotation of the front panel 2. The slide panel 4 pushes in horizontal the clamper plate 5 during the closing operation and moves the clamper plate 5 to move along the cam groove 9 in such a direction that the clamper 8 comes close to the turntable 3.
