<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly display a GUI image even by using an image output device whose image processing capability is low. <P>SOLUTION: This AV system 100 where an image output device 2 is connected to a television device 1 is provided with a GUI image output device 3 connected through a radio network N to the image output device for outputting a GUI image displayed at the display part of a television device to the image output device. The image output device is provided with a communication control part for transmitting a GUI image acquisition instruction signal to instruct the acquisition of GUI image information relating to the GUI image corresponding to an operation signal output from the operation switch of a remote control device to a GUI image output device.
