PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a composition which can be impregnated smoothly into reinforcing fibers, is excellent in resin flowability and gives a prepreg having a good balance of tuckability and drapability by blending, as an essential component, a component (B) which satisfies specific conditions and has a functional group that can crosslink a thermosetting resin (A) without promoting its setting reaction. SOLUTION: As a component A, an epoxy resin composition having more than 1 epoxy groups in a molecule is preferable. An example of the functional groups which are necessary for crosslinking is a radical-polymerizable unsaturated group. The specific condition is that the component A should be reacted and combined with more than 2, on average, molecules in a component B (e.g. shown in the formula). Whenαis defined as the number of atoms to form a molecular chain having the minimum number of atoms andβis defined as the number of atoms, out ofαatoms, to form a cyclic structure having not more than 10 members, the two conditions,α>14 andβ/α<0.3, are simultaneously satisfied. 1-50 parts by weight of the component B per 100 parts by weight of the component A is blended.
