Water re-dispersible film-forming powder polymers prepared from unsaturated ethylenic monomers

In the present invention there is disclosed a water re-dispersible powder mixture containing /a/ 100 parts by weight of a powder consisting of water insoluble film-forming polymer being prepared from at least one ethylenically unsaturated monomer and from at least one monomer being selected from monomers having carboxylic function and acrylamide or methacrylamide, and /b/ 2 to 40 parts by weight, preferably 8 to 22 parts by weight of at least one amino acid. In the present invention there is also claimed a process for preparing such mixture and use thereof.
