<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an illumination system capable of enhancing the interior factor, as compared with conventional types, by integrating the illumination function with the fan function, and which is superior in the illumination function as illumination for illuminating the interior. <P>SOLUTION: This illumination system 1 is provided with a housing 2, attachable to a ceiling and having a rotation drive device housed therein; and a plurality of rotatable blades 3, connected to a rotation drive mechanism in the housing 2. The blade 3 is formed of, for instance, a resin having optical transparency in a nearly-rectangular shape. A plurality of light-emitting diodes 4 are arranged at the upper end 3a of the blade 3 along its longitudinal direction. On the upper surface side of the blade 3, a plurality of recessed parts 5, as the reflecting mechanism for reflecting the light introduced into the blade 3 from the light-emitting diodes 4 directed toward the lower side, are formed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
