PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly cook an object to be heated with no unstable control even when the surface temperature of the object to be heated cannot be accurately detected by an infrared sensor. SOLUTION: A control circuit discriminates whether the object to be heated is in a frozen condition or in a non-frozen condition depending on a difference between the maximum value within twelve cycles as a result of the temperature of the object to be heated detected by the infrared sensor and the maximum value in the first cycle or between the minimum value within twelve cycles and the minimum value in the first cycle (Steps S7, S8), controls the heating of a frozen food when the frozen food is determined (Steps S11, S12), and controls the heating of a room-temperature/refrigerated food when the room-temperature/refrigerated food is determined (Steps S9, S10).
