<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor in which a user can select an optimal print mode easily and quickly while taking account of the amount of consumables required for printing. <P>SOLUTION: The image processor comprises a means for calculating the amount of consumables required for printing image data stored in an image memory 17, a means for calculating the print cost of each of a plurality of print modes based on the amount of consumables thus calculated, and an LCD 5 for displaying the print cost of each of the plurality of print modes thus calculated in correspondence with the plurality of print modes. Since a plurality of print modes are displayed on the LCD 5 together with corresponding print cost (amount of money), a user can select an optimal print mode easily and quickly among a plurality of print modes. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
