<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of suppressing such a trouble that poor-electrified toner is supplied to a toner electrostatic transporting substrate 101 for transporting the toner by an EH phenomenon. <P>SOLUTION: A toner supply part 140 is arranged in the developing device 100, In the toner supply part 140, the mixture of the toner and friction promoting materials stored in a 1st storage chamber 142 and a 2nd storage chamber 143 are stirred by a 1st carrying screw 144 and a 2nd carrying screw 145, the toner in the mixture in the 1st storage chamber 142 is scattered by an electrostatic force against the gravity, and then, the toner is supplied to the toner electrostatic transporting substrate 101.
