Process and assembly to regenerate diesel engine exhaust particle filter by heated turbocharger air

In a process to regenerate a diesel engine exhaust particle filter, the particles are burned off by bypass hot air. The regeneration air is tapped from the turbocharger and heated by an electrical element (15) to soot incineration temperature and then distributed (4) via a continually rotating outlet. The outlet impinges on a limited number of filter passages at a time. Also claimed is a commensurate assembly.
