<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow added value information to be confirmed regardless of loss, theft, or the like of received cash when adding value information in an information storage medium like an IC card. <P>SOLUTION: A method of adding value information in the information storage medium is provided with a step (S1) of setting a value to be added to value information in a customer card 2-2, a step (S4) of reading out value information #1 from a management card 2-1, steps (S5 and S6) of subtracting the added value from value information in the management card 201 and writing value information after subtraction to the management card 2-1, a step (S9) of reading out value information from the customer card 2-2, and steps (S10 and S11) of adding the added value to value information in the customer card 2-2 and writing value information after addition to the customer card 2-2.
