<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive door sensor and opening/closing control method for the automatic door sensor which prevents illegal intrusion from an automatic door by a simple constitution, and secures smooth passage and safe of passengers, extremely facilitates new installation construction works and replacing works to novel installation works from existing automatic door sensors. <P>SOLUTION: The present automatic door sensor is provided with an area sensor forming a door vicinity detection area A12 detecting passengers 6 near an automatic door 5 and a door faraway detection area A11 detecting passengers 6 separate from the automatic door 5, and a control means making only the door faraway detection area A11 effective when the automatic door 5 is discriminated to be in the closed state and outputs the door opening signal when the passengers 6 are detected at the door faraway detection area A11 and making the door vicinity detection area A12 effective and while the passengers 6 are detected at least at one side of the door faraway detection area A11 and the door vicinity detection area A12, a control means to keep the outputting state of the door opening signal is provided. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
