A method for supporting multi-language through style applied captions and a recording medium storing an application for implementing the same are provided to reduce a size of an application file and use the current language during execution of a program by separately designing an application file and the captions for each language. A user requests switching into a specific language during execution of the application(S301). Caption data of the requested language is read. In case that the preset style is present, the read caption data is modified according to the corresponding style(S305). The caption data is overlapped on each component of a currently output screen. Setting of the style is modified by correcting a source of the application and the corrected application source is compiled(S309). The style includes at least one of a font, the size, color, flickering, and transparency of the caption.
