An optical pickup device is provided to constitute a toric lens between an LD(Laser Diode) and a plate beam splitter so as to compensate aberration of a beam, which is generated when the beam passes through the plate beam splitter, thereby obtaining quality of an emitted beam. The first and second LDs(201,211) generate beams of different wavelengths. The first and second plate beam splitters(205,214) are positioned on optical paths for optical path conversion, and individually transmit or reflect the generated beams in polarized directions. A toric lens(204) is installed between the first LD(201) and the first plate beam splitter(205) in order to compensate aberration generated when the beam emitted from the first LD(201) passes through the first plate beam splitter(205). A path converter(206) changes a path of the emitted beam in a direction of an objective lens(208). A collimator lens(207) converts the beam into a parallel beam.
