An anti-lock brake system is provided to start smoothly and quickly by restricting a vehicle from being pulled back on a slope with a relief valve, and to cut down manufacturing cost by integrally forming a solenoid valve and the relief valve in a modulator block. An anti-lock brake system includes a NO(normal open) push preventive solenoid valve(60a) including a main orifice closed in a push preventive mode in the middle of a connection passage(31) connecting an outlet of a master cylinder(21) and an outlet of a hydraulic pump, a relief passage(32) connecting the outlet of the master cylinder to an upper part of the NO solenoid valve, and a relief valve(33a) installed in the middle of the relief passage to decrease braking pressure of a wheel cylinder(22) over the reference value. The push preventive solenoid valve includes an auxiliary opening orifice(66b), and a lip seal(68) preventing counter flow and communicating braking fluid from the master cylinder to a supply passage(30). The anti-lock brake system is installed in a single modulator block.
