FOOD FOR PREVENTING FATTY LIVER FORMATION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for inhibiting the generation of mRNA of an SREB-1, and thereby preventing the formation of fatty liver.

SOLUTION: This sterol regulatory element-binding protein-1 (SREB-1) expression inhibitor is provided by consisting of royal jelly. The SREB-1 expression inhibitor is incorporated into a food. Such the food has an effect of preventing the fatty liver formation. The product form of such the food preferably has a display telling that the food has the effect of inhibiting the expression of the SREB-1 and thereby inhibiting the construction of cholesterol into liver cells and preventing the fatty liver.
