<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means for accelerating the expression of a low density lipoprotein receptor, thereby accelerating the uptake of cholesterol into cells, strengthening the body cellular membrane and also reducing the cholesterol in blood. <P>SOLUTION: This expression accelerator of the low density lipoprotein receptor is provided by consisting of royal jerry. It is preferable that the royal jelly contains ≥10 mass% royalactin based on the total amount of proteins. Such the expression accelerator of the low density lipoprotein receptor is incorporated into a food for transporting the low density lipoprotein into the cells for strengthening the cellular membrane of body cells, as an active ingredient.
