摘要

[PROBLEMS] TO provide a compound usable in treating diseases in which 11beta-hydroxysteroid dehydrogenase type 1 (11beta-HSD1) participates, in particular, diabetes and insulin resistance. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] It is found out that a triazole derivative characterized by being substituted by a trisubstituted methyl group at the 2-position of the triazole ring or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof has a potent 11beta-HSD1 inhibitory activity. Moreover, this triazole derivative exhibits an excellent hypoglycemic effect, which makes it usable in treating diabetes and insulin resistance.
