PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of producing a liquid crystal polyester film capable of easily producing a high quality liquid crystal polyester film.SOLUTION: A method of producing a liquid crystal polyester film includes processes of: applying a liquid composition including a liquid crystal polyester and an organic solvent dissolving the liquid crystal polyester to the surface of a heat resistant resin film having a contact angle of ≤50° with the liquid composition, and then, removing the organic solvent to form a laminate wherein the heat resistant resin film and a coating film including the liquid crystal polyester are layered; subjecting the laminate to heat treatment under an inert gas atmosphere in a temperature condition of 230-340°C; and peeling off the heat resistant resin film from the laminate after the heat treatment at a peeling angle within a range of 135-180°. |
