摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electro-optic device and electronic equipment having high transmittance for light transmitting through a pixel and capable of effectively using light emitting from a light source.SOLUTION: A liquid crystal device as an embodiment of the electro-optic device includes an element substrate 10, a light-transmitting pixel electrode 15 disposed in a pixel, a storage capacitor 16 disposed between the element substrate 10 and the pixel electrode 15 and having a pair of light-transmitting electrodes disposed to oppose each other through a dielectric layer 16b, and a third interlayer insulating film 14 disposed between the storage capacitor 16 and the pixel electrode 15. Each film thickness of the pixel electrode 15, a first electrode 16a and a second electrode 16c as the pair of light-transmitting electrodes, and the third interlayer insulating film 14 is set in such a manner that the spectral distribution of light transmitting through the pixel shows peaks of transmittance respectively corresponding to the wavelength ranges of at least red, green and blue.
