PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus capable of safely carrying out end processing even if the operation power supply is unexpectedly disconnected.SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus includes: an imaging lens; an image pickup device for outputting image signals according to a subject image; an image processing part for generating image data from the image signals; a data recording part for recording the image data; a control part for controlling the operation of the image pickup device and various parts; a first electric power supply; a second electric power supply serving as an auxiliary electric power supply; an electric power supply circuit for generating a plurality of voltages from voltages supplied from the first electric power supply or the second electric power supply, and outputting the voltages; detection means for detecting a predefined change of the imaging apparatus; electric power supply switching means for switching the electric voltage supply to be supplied to the electric power supply circuit, from the first electric power supply to the second electric power supply when the detection means detects the predefined change while an electric voltage is being supplied from the first electric power supply to the electric power supply circuit; and end processing means for carrying out predefined end processing when the electric voltage supply to the electric power supply circuit is switched to the second electric power supply. |
