PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To extract a feature part from an input image correctly in a uniform distribution.SOLUTION: An image processing apparatus 100 comprises: extraction means 106 that performs extraction processing of extracting a feature part in an input image; analysis means 103 that performs image analysis on the input image; and dividing means 102 that divides the input image into a plurality of image areas. The analysis means performs image analysis for each of the image areas. The extraction means selects a method of extracting a feature part in the extraction processing for each of the image areas according to a result of the image analysis for each of the image areas.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
