PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To implement a virtual BRAS system which can make an effective use of a system throughput.SOLUTION: Address information on a user terminal 10 and a communication state to a network 3 are stored in a storage unit 25. Based on the address information and the communication state, the capability or incapability to connect to the network 3 from the user terminal 10 is determined. When there is a connection request from the user terminal 10 to the network 3, one of virtual BRAS 26 is selected as a connection establishment candidate server, and notified to the user terminal 10. On determination that a connection of the user terminal 10 to the network 3 is possible, a connection between the user terminal 10 and the virtual BRAS 26 is established, whereas on determination that a connection of the user terminal 10 to the network 3 is not possible, a connection establishment request from the user terminal 10 is rejected without notification to the virtual BRAS.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
