PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To recover more electric energy by efficiently supplying thermal energy radiated from a hot slab to a thermoelectric power generation device while suppressing the problem of heat resistance and the problem of performance degradation of the thermoelectric power generation device in a case where the thermoelectric power generation device composing a thermoelectric power generation facility is provided below the hot slab in a continuous casting facility where a heat source moves (flows).SOLUTION: A thermoelectric power generation facility 6 of a continuous casting facility 1 includes a thermoelectric power generation device 20 provided below a hot slab 15 so as to face the hot slab 15. The thermoelectric power generation device 20 is arranged so as to form an angle of 45° or more with the undersurface of the hot slab 15 with respect to a travelling direction of the hot slab 15. |
