1. A compound having the formula: wherein M is a metal having an atomic weight higher than 40; wherein L is a second ligand; wherein m is the maximum coordination number of the metal M; wherein d is the denticity of L; wherein n is at least 1; wherein one of R13, R14, R15, R16, R17, and R18 is hydrogen and the remainder are independently selected from the group consisting of hydrogen, deuterium, halide, alkyl, cycloalkyl, heteroalkyl, arylalkyl, alkoxy, aryloxy, amino, silyl, germyl, alkenyl, cycloalkenyl, heteroalkenyl, alkynyl, aryl, heteroaryl, acyl, carbonyl, carboxylic acids, ester, nitrile, isonitrile, sulfanyl, sulfonyl, sulfonyl, phosphino, and combinations thereof; wherein at least two of R13, R14, R15, R16, R17, and R18 are independently selected from two to three carbon containing alkyl, silyl, germyl, cycloalkyl, and combinations thereof; wherein each of R22, R23, R24, and R25 is independently selected from the group consisting of hydrogen, deuterium, halide, alkyl, cycloalkyl, heteroalkyl, arylalkyl, alkoxy, aryloxy, amino, silyl, alkenyl, cycloalkenyl, heteroalkenyl, alkynyl, aryl, heteroaryl, acyl, carbonyl, carboxylic acids, ester, nitrile, isonitrile, sulfanyl, sulfinyl, sulfonyl, phosphino, and combinations thereof; and wherein at least one of the following (i)-(ii) is true:
(i) at least one of R13 to R18 is cycloalkyl or germyl; and(ii) at least one of R13 to R18 is silyl, R23 and R25 are alkyl, and R22 and R24 are hydrogen. |
