The invention relates to a sealing device (1) for sealing a joint (4) between a first and a second structural body (5, 6), particularly between concrete bodies. To this end, an injection channel (3) is provided in the area of the joint (4) and, in order to seal the joint (4) and/or flaws (4a, 4b) in the area of the joint (4), is filled or can be filled with a sealing medium. A spacer extruded body that fills the injection channel (3) is placed inside the injection channel (3), and the injection channel (3) is solely formed by walls of the structural bodies (5, 6). The spacer extruded body is a hollow profile extrudate (2) that, inside, has at least one hollow profile channel preferably passing through in the longitudinal direction, and a three-dimensional shape, which withstands the hydrostatic pressure of the unset concrete during the casting of the second structural body, and can, when pressing in sealing medium, be pressed into the injection channel (3) while the cross-section thereof narrows and while retreating from the walls of the injection channel (3), preferably up to the joint area. The invention also relates to a hollow profile extrudate for a sealing device and to the method for sealing.
