<p>PURPOSE:To provide a measuring apparatus for the blood pressure being equipped with a characteristic device for the pressure measurement which is possible to be carried out a checking examination of its pressure detecting means without utilizing a special socket or plug, together with the facility for checking air leakage as well as a prompt exaustion of air from a device. CONSTITUTION:A meter comprises a cuff 1 which is fit up onto a detection portion of a subject to give a choking action of the blood vessel, a pressurizing device 2 for a cuff 1, a slow exhaustion device 3 of pressure, a prompt exhaustion device 4 of pressure of a cuff 1 to the atomospheric pressure, and a pressure measuring unit 5 of cuff 1. In addition, an apparatus is equipped with a plurality of the operation switches 6a, 6b, at least more than two, together with a blocking unit 7 to which the foregoing switches are attached. A function of a pressure measuring unit 5 can be checked by operating more than two switches 6a, 6b simultaneously while a air exhaustion device 4 being blocked by a unit 7.</p> |
