DEVICE AND METHOD FOR REMOVING DEMOLISHED WASTE OF TAPPING RUNNER IN BLAST FURNACE

PURPOSE:To remarkably improve the removing efficiency of demolished waste by arranging a suction box provided with scraping rotary brushes and a sucking-in rotary brush faced to the bottom surface of an tapping runner, rotary- shifting and suction-removing the demolished waste. CONSTITUTION:The suction box 12 provided with the scraping rotary brushes 14 being freely rotatable near the box and the sucking-in rotary brush 16 being freely rotatable in an opening hole part is mounted on a shifting truck and this suction box 12 is positioned in the fixed interval with the bottom surface 11a of tapping runner 11. While shifting the truck, the demolished waste of the refractory dispersed on the bottom surface 11a is scraped up into the opening part of the suction box 12 with one pair of the scraping rotary brushes 14. The scraped-up demolished waste is fed into the suction pipe 20 by rotating a sucking-in rotary brush 16 and collected with a collecting device 24 through a flexible hose 22 and a non-return valve 23. By this method, the removing work of the demolished waste of refractory can be automated and the removing efficiency is remarkably improved.
