<p>PURPOSE:To provide a method for recovering a metal in a slag by treating the metal-containing slag generated in a process for refining the melted metal especially in the melted or semi-melted state. CONSTITUTION:This method for recovering a metal contained in a slag comprises discharging the metal-containing slag in a melted or semi-melted state in a pit or on a yard, just subsequently inverting or stirring the slag with a tilling device, simultaneously dispersing, coagulating and cooling the melted metal in the slag, and subsequently grinding, sieving and magnetically dressing the cooled slag, thus recovering e.g. iron from the slag. Further preferably, slag blocks are spread on a yard, and a melted or semi-melted slag is discharged thereon.</p> |
