<p>PURPOSE:To enable the easy, smooth and sure obtaining of crystallized glass at a low cost by arranging a turning melting furnace as a primary melting furnace, a heating means, a secondary melting furnace, etc., and burning and melting a waste containing an organic substance. CONSTITUTION:Desired incinerated ash (A) and lime (B) for regulating the composition are fed from hoppers 1 and 2 through a raw material transporting conveyor 3 to a mixer 4, mixed and stored in a constant rate feeder 5. The resultant mixed ash (a) is then fed to a primary melting furnace 6 heated at 1350 deg.C with a burner 7 thereof and subsequently melted. The obtained melt is dropped into a secondary furnace 8 and heated to about 1450 deg.C with a heavy oil combustion burner 9, made to stay for >=15min and homogenized to remove gases. The resultant homogenized melt is dropped into a cooling forming machine 10 to provide a melt (b), which is then formed into small massive glass (I), fed through a glass transporting machine 11 to a crystallizing furnace 12, kept at 800-900 deg.C for >=15min, subsequently kept at 1000-1100 deg.C for >=15min in a main crystal growth region and crystallized to produce the crystallized glass.</p> |
