PURPOSE:To provide a safety metal fitting for a metal wheel by which a metal wheel support material such as a steel tower of a power transmission line is not damaged when the metal wheel is broken down and reliability to safety is heightened and a wire extension quantity is reduced. CONSTITUTION:A safety metal fitting is composed of a metal wheel installing metal fitting piece 10 having a metal wheel installing part in one end part and having an installing art to a support material such as a steel tower of a power transmission line and a wire holding piece 12 having a penetrating hollow part 14 whose one end part is arranged on the metal wheel installing metal fitting piece 10 and the other end part side extends up to a position above or below of a metal wheel installed on the metal wheel installing metal fitting piece 10 and where one side of a wire W tensioned on the metal wheel penetrates into the extending part.
