COMBINATION OF COMPOUND HAVING BACTERICIDAL AND FUNGICIDAL ACTIVITY

PURPOSE: To provide a control agent composition for controlling plant-pathogenic bacteria and fungi, which consists of a combination of a well-known bactericidal/fungicidal compound and another well-known specific bactericidal/fungicidal compound and shows excellent bactericidal/fungicidal activity due to a synergistic effect of these compounds. CONSTITUTION: This bactericidal/fungicidal composition contains a combination of (A) the compound represented by the formula I and (B) an active compound selected from: dichlofluanid; trifluanid; tetrachloroisophthalodinitrile represented by the formula II; propineb; tetramethylthiuram disulfide represented by the formula III; mancozeb; anilazine; copper oxychloride; captan; dimethomorph; dithianone; phaltan; benzimidazole-2-carbamic acid methyl ester represented by the formula IV; cymoxanil; fosetyl or its aluminum addition product (fosetyl- Al); metalaxyl; oxadixyl; fluazinam; tebuconazole; a compound represented by the formula V (wherein; X is Cl and Y is -CH(OH)-; X is a phenyl group and Y is -CH(OH)-; or, X is Cl and Y is CO); the compound represented by the formula VI; and the compound represented by the formula VII.
