<p>PURPOSE:To provide the subject rope having high strength even in fine diameter, not causing breakage due to kink, capable of readily housing, having small housing space and excellent in abrasion resistance by knitting and braiding strands composed of a synthetic fiber multifilament yarn. CONSTITUTION:This rope is obtained by knitting and braiding strands composed of a synthetic fiber, preferably a high-strength polyethylene multifilament yarn and having 0.5-10 denier monofilament fineness, and the rope has preferably <=5.5mm, especially 3.8-4.2mm outside diameter and is coated with a resin such as an urethane-based or acrylic resin in an amount of about 5wt.% based on the weight of the rope.</p> |
