<p>PURPOSE:To weld a pipe by fusion by irradiating the pipe with a microwave by using a cylindrical core by a method wherein a non-penetrating hole provided from an outer periphery to an inner periphery is provided, and at least one joint is provided to a cylindrical core. CONSTITUTION:A pipe 1 made of thermoplastic resin is joined by irradiating the pipe 1 with microwave by using a cylindrical core 2 provided in contact with an outer surface of the pipe 1 at a joint part. In that case, the cylindrical core 2 has a circumference 3 consisting of the same quality material as that of the pipe containing tri-iron tetraoxide, and a nonpenetrating hole 4 made from an outer periphery to an inner periphery. Further, the cylindrical core 2 has at least one joint. By observing a bottom of the non-penetrating hole 4, whether a layer containing tri-iron tetraoxide being a heating layer is melted by being heated or a layer not containing tri-iron tetraoxide is melted by transfer of the heat, can be observed.</p> |
